LAND-BASED AQUACULTURE
Nurturing Bounty Beyond the Sea

SECTION 01

Return to Origins. Challenge to Different Industries.

The origin of TOHO Group lies in "food". Founder Ra Hokyo was also the person who established Horai, known for 551's pork buns. Starting from the desire to "enrich people's lives through food", we have challenged the completely different field of automobiles and built solid trust in the areas of import, distribution, and quality control. However, we don't stop there. Because society is changing and the nature of environment and food is being questioned now, we thought it was TOHO Group's mission to face "food" once again. The challenge to different industries is also a return to our origins.

SECTION 02

Nurture and Deliver. From Minamiizu to the World.

What we are newly tackling is the land-based aquaculture business of giant river prawns. TOHO Group thoroughly focused on the act of "nurturing", which may seem like a simple activity. Without being bound by existing aquaculture systems, we designed and developed everything from scratch: tanks, filtration devices, breeding water, feed, and even mechanisms to prevent cannibalism. We completed our own land-based aquaculture facility. This newly created production model has finally reached the stage where we can deliver it to everyone. In the future, we will not only focus on aquaculture but also on sixth industrialization including processing, distribution, and experience, delivering delicious shrimp from Minamiizu to the world. Based on the "precision" and "commitment to quality" cultivated in the automotive field, TOHO Group creates a sustainable food future.

MY MISSION

Problem Solving and Prioritization

When you look around, you'll find various problems occurring. There are personal problems that occur within yourself or your family, and there are also social community-level problems that occur at work or school. How to solve these many problems, how to deal with them, or whether to turn a blind eye. The broader the perspective you have, the more opportunities you face various problems, but I want to do work that confronts various social problems in cooperation with teammates while cultivating such [wisdom] that can prioritize each one and determine solutions. I will strive to become a person who can be thanked by people in need.
